SeaKing Ice Cream is well known at Sarasota’s beaches for its ice cream boat.

“We cruise Sarasota’s waters bringing frozen joy, smiles and memories to beachgoers, boaters, and sandbar parties,” says the SeaKing website. “Wave us down or let us know where you’ll be!”

Now, the ice cream brand looks to be moving into the brick-and-mortar space with a new ice cream shop. This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork showing SeaKing Ice Cream opening at 7650 S Tamiami Trail, Suite 9, in Sarasota.

What Now contacted the owners of SeaKing Ice Cream on Friday. A representative said that no opening date has been determined yet, but What Now is awaiting more information, so stay tuned for more details to come!

At the upcoming ice cream shop, you’ll be able to reserve space for birthday parties. Parties can feature sea life documentary screenings, craft activities, and of course ice cream with a “loaded topping bar for each person—sprinkles, sauces, candy, and more to customize their treat.”

You can keep up with all things SeaKing by following @seakingicecream on Instagram.
