According to their website, Postino WineCafé will open its third Austin location at the Village at Westlake, at 701 S. Capital of Texas Hwy., Suite J760.
Postino’s menu is built around sharing. The WineCafe is know for its bruschetta alongside charcuterie boards, paninis, salads, and its “Snacky Things” menu. The food is paired with an extensive wine list served plus signature cocktails, zero-proof options, and beer, designed for long gatherings.
“Westlake is one of Austin’s most established and community-driven neighborhoods, which made it a natural next step for us,” Postino co-founder and CEO Lauren Bailey said in a statement cited by Community Impact. “We’ve loved growing alongside the Austin community, and this location gives us another space where people can come together over great food, wine and conversation.”
Each Postino location is designed with nods to its neighborhood; past builds have incorporated local art, references to a building’s history, and community-specific design touches.
Postino was founded in Phoenix in 2001 by Bailey and Craig DeMarco, who opened the first location inside a former post office, and the inspiration for the brand’s name. The concept has since grown to more than 30 locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, part of Upward Projects’ restaurant portfolio.
