Ted’s Montana Grill is Opening Its First Athens Location
Ted’s Montana Grill is opening its 12th Georgia location in Athens on August 24. The 4,242-square-foot restaurant will be located at Beechwood, 196 Alps Road. The restaurant will be led by Proprietor Terence Holton.
Ted’s Montana Grill was founded in 2002 by the late Ted Turner and restaurateur George McKerrow. The restaurant was created to bring bison back to American menus while focusing on quality and fresh ingredients. McKerrow also opened the first LongHorn Steakhouse in Athens more than 30 years ago.
“Bringing what we call ‘The Big Sky Spirit’ to Athens has been a longtime goal, and I’m incredibly proud to see it become a reality,” said George McKerrow, CEO and co-founder of Ted’s Montana Grill. “Athens is a special place that reflects everything Ted’s represents – friendly, genuine people who care about their community and have a deep appreciation for tradition, great food, and hospitality.”
