Rosati’s Pizza is preparing to open a new restaurant at 25166 S. Ellsworth Road, Suite B101, in Queen Creek, according to an announcement shared by the restaurant on social media.
The owners said work is nearing the final stages. New kitchen hoods are set for inspection, and a second oven is expected to arrive soon. An opening date has not yet been announced.
The new restaurant is owned by Lee and Heather Kroll, multi-unit franchise operators who already run several Rosati’s locations in Arizona. The couple has also expanded into other restaurant brands, including a 2025 agreement to develop 50 Port of Subs locations across the state.
The Queen Creek restaurant will be Rosati’s first location in the city. Nearby restaurants include 8490 S. Power Road in Gilbert, 4425 S. Mountain Road, Suite 101, in Mesa, and 21423 N. John Wayne Pkwy., Suite 102, in Maricopa.
Once open, the Ellsworth Road restaurant will offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery. The location sits between the Johnson Ranch and Power Ranch areas.
Rosati’s features several styles of pizza, including thin crust, double dough, Chicago deep dish, stuffed pizza, and gluten-free crust. The menu also includes wings, sandwiches, salads, pasta, calzones, and desserts.
The first Rosati’s Pizza opened in Mount Prospect, Illinois, in 1964. Since then, the brand has expanded to more than 120 restaurants across the country.
More information about the opening date is expected as construction and inspections move forward. Follow Rosati’s Pizza on Instagram for updates.
