What Now reported this week on plans for Columbus-based developer Lifestyle Communities—which has projects in Nashville, Raleigh-Durham, Austin, and other cities—to bring its The Goat restaurant concept to North Charleston’s Ingleside neighborhood. It’s opening at 2949 Ingleside Blvd, Suite 110.
Meanwhile, alongside this opening, Lifestyle Communities is also opening an Ingleside outpost of its Morning Ritual cafe.
“Designed for the full range of morning-through-early-afternoon activity: coffee runs, casual meetings, laptop shifts,” a recent press release describes the concept. “Housemade biscuits and assorted pastries are served daily alongside espresso, brewed coffee, teas, smoothies, and a rotating Drink of the Month. The Ingleside location will be the first to offer lunch, featuring a brand-new midday menu.”
However, the Ingleside location is not the only Morning Ritual that Lifestyle Communities has planned for the area. According to the Morning Ritual website, another outpost is “coming soon” to Charleston, opening at 40 Line Street.
“It’s not just about the coffee and biscuits – it’s about the experience,” says the Morning Ritual site. “Our cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make Morning Ritual the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and connect with others. Alongside handcrafted coffees, Morning Ritual offers the best house-made biscuits, pastries, and breakfast classics.”
