Based in Columbus, Lifestyle Communities is a developer with communities in cities like Nashville, Raleigh-Durham, and Austin, among others.

“From day one, we’ve been dedicated to building more than just spaces—we’re creating connections,” says the company’s website. “Whether it’s apartments for rent, homes for sale, coffee shops, restaurants, pools, or gyms, every place we build is designed for people to engage, connect, and be themselves. We’re building places to call home.”

This fall, Lifestyle Communities is bringing its The Goat restaurant concept to North Charleston’s Ingleside neighborhood. It’s opening at 2949 Ingleside Blvd, Suite 110.

The restaurant will feature menu highlights like a Street Taco board (choice of ancho chicken, chorizo, or pulled pork, and corn or flour tortillas; served with pickled onions, queso fresco and smoked chile crema), Fish and Chips (beer-battered cod, fries, house slaw and GOAT sauce), and the Harvest Bowl (mixed greens, crispy sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, pickled onion, goat cheese, candied pecans and apple cider vinaigrette), says a recent press release.

“Made for gathering,” says the release, “The Goat boasts two stories, floor-to-ceiling windows, a full bar and private event spaces.”

With 12 locations either open or coming soon, The Goat is “Your neighborhood social hub.” Opening in September, The Goat will offer catering and space for special events.

“Let us take the stress out of planning your event – because hey, you deserve to enjoy it too!” says The Goat’s website. “The Goat experience means working directly with a team member to ensure your event runs smoothly. No matter the event or celebration, we’ve got all the details covered.”
