A self-described serial entrepreneur, April Manigault is the force behind CC Events and Rentals—but that’s only one of this local entrepreneur’s projects.
Alongside event planning, Manigault is also at work on a new restaurant that’s set to open in Summerville, in partnership with her husband. It’s called CC Wings & Grill, and it’s launching sometime in September at 140 Hemphill Ct, Manigault told What Now on Tuesday.
“We just announced it yesterday,” Manigault said. “We’re doing some remodeling right now.”
The menu will feature choices like wings, tenders, shrimp, and fries, says Manigault. CC Wings & Grill expects primarily to service delivery and takeout orders; however, there will also be a comfortable patio area where guests can enjoy their food.
Manigault made the announcement of CC Wings & Grill on Facebook on Monday:
“My husband has literally helped build my dreams on his back. From deliveries, cleaning my venues, helping me decorate, building my crazy ideas lol, installing balloons, telling me to go rest while he handles my late night pickups. He has been there helping me build my dream every step of the way and I’m very grateful for him even when I’m fussing lol. With that being said, it’s only fair that I help him as he builds his dreams. Facebook family and friends please stay tuned as we build CC Wings and Grill! Cooking is truly his passion and I’m excited to see him turn something he loves doing into something of his own. I’ll be adjusting some things on my end in the near so I can help him build.
