A new Chinese buffet is planned for Northwest San Antonio, with construction records showing a new 12,000-square-foot commercial building at 3145 NW Loop 410.
According to project records filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Chinese Buffet – Cherry Ridge project is expected to begin construction on November 20, 2026, with completion anticipated by October 31, 2027. The privately funded project has an estimated construction cost of $2 million.
The planned restaurant will occupy a new commercial building spanning approximately 12,000 square feet. Tian Chun Lim, who is listed as the project owner, confirmed that he is also the owner of the upcoming Chinese buffet concept.
The project is currently listed as registered, with Open Studio Architecture serving as the design firm. Michael Pena filed the project records, while Doug W. Martine is listed as the registered accessibility specialist.
