Pilates Addiction is set to debut in Manvel! According to the brand’s website and a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, the brand’s new Pilates studio is expected to open in the Bluewater shopping center at 18909 Highway 6.

The permit further details that construction started at the end of June and is close to wrapping up this month. If all goes well with permitting and the estimated $250,000 construction project, the new Manvel Pilates Addition should open before the end of this summer.

“Commercial Tenant finish (TI) buildout to include new walls, ductwork, building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing,” the permit for the 1,509 square-foot Pilates Addition studio reads.

The franchisee for the new Manvel Pilates Addiction is Kimberlee Key, who was listed on the permit. What Now Houston reached out to Key to find out more details about the upcoming opening and further expansion plans. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

“Pilates Addiction is coming to Manvel!” Key wrote in a post on the Facebook group Talk of Pearland.

“Our doors aren’t open yet… but the VIP list is. Join the VIP list and be first to unlock exclusive updates, perks, and access to the studio.”

Pilates Addiction launched in May 2025 in West Hollywood, California, under parent company Sequel Brands. Led by fitness industry veteran and CEO Sarah Luna, who previously helped scale Club Pilates, the brand rapidly expanded by fusing classical alignment with high-intensity, music-driven workouts.

“Pilates Addiction was created for people who want more from Pilates, more strength, more focus, and more reason to keep showing up,” the Pilates Addiction website reads.

“Some Pilates becomes too basic over time. Other studios swing the opposite direction, turning Pilates into something loud, chaotic, or bootcamp-like. Pilates Addiction sits in a different place entirely.”

What Now also spoke with Luna, who confirmed the opening.

“Every class is intentionally designed to challenge your body without losing control, connection, or the core principles that make Pilates work,” the brand’s website reads.

“You’re guided. You’re challenged. You build over time.”

There are now more than 300 Pilates Addiction franchise territories across 27 states, with locations like the Bluewater studio set to open soon as part of a major nationwide expansion. The brand has more than 15 planned or opening Pilates Addiction franchise territories and studios across Texas, with multiple locations rapidly rolling out in major metro areas like Houston, Dallas, and Austin. The upcoming Bluewater shopping center opening will be the first Pilates Addiction in Manvel.

Pilates Addiction is anticipated to open in the Bluewater shopping center at 18909 Highway 6 later this year.
