Turkey and the Wolf could be headed to Nashville International Airport. According to WSMV, the New Orleans-based sandwich shop is included in restaurant proposals scheduled to be considered by the Nashville Airport Authority next month, with the proposed location expected to open by 2028.
The potential BNA location would expand the brand’s existing Nashville presence. According to Turkey and the Wolf Icehouse’s website, the concept operates a Nashville location at 800 Meridian St. in East Nashville, where it serves its take on sandwiches and other casual fare.
Turkey and the Wolf originated in New Orleans, where its original restaurant is located at 739 Jackson Ave. According to the brand’s website, the restaurant is known for its sandwich-focused menu and has received recognition from the Michelin Guide and Bon Appétit.
In Nashville, the Icehouse offers a casual counter-service format with sandwiches, burgers, salads and other dishes. According to its online menu, current offerings include the Collard Green Melt, Bologna sandwich, Mama Tried Burger, Ham n Cran, Sloppy Poboy, Lamb Roti and McCaviar, along with sides such as crinkle fries and cabbage salad.
If approved, the proposed BNA location would give Turkey and the Wolf a second Nashville-area presence while bringing its sandwich-focused concept to airport travelers. According to WSMV, the Nashville Airport Authority is expected to vote on the restaurant proposals next month, with the proposed locations targeted for completion by 2028.
