Innerbloom is preparing to open at 1101 Polk St., San Francisco, bringing a new restaurant and community-oriented gathering space to the Polk Street corridor. Owner Anthony Niboli told WhatNow that he and his partner are still in the early stages of preparing the space. Niboli said the restaurant is now expected to open in early 2027, although the timeline is not yet firm.
The partners are currently purchasing and installing kitchen appliances before beginning the health and safety process. The concept will work with a relatively small kitchen and focus on small bites, while the beverage program will include a variety of wines.
The owners plan to work with family-owned wineries and create wine offerings that reflect Niboli’s background in hospitality and wine. He previously operated a wine tour bus and organized a San Francisco wine festival supporting nonprofits. Local artists will be another part of the project. The restaurant will also incorporate acoustic music, with Niboli envisioning performances taking place before 10 p.m.
Before the official opening, Innerbloom plans to host small art pop-ups and participate in neighborhood art activities. The space already has a resident artist, and Niboli said the owners want to provide opportunities for local creatives to showcase their work. Niboli said he and his partners are financing the project with their own equity and want Innerbloom to become connected to the surrounding neighborhood.
