An independently created fast-casual restaurant will combine burgers, wings, burritos, a bar, social lounge, and video gaming at 2800 147th Street. AstroBite is taking shape in Posen, according to posts from the upcoming concept on its social media pages.
Owner Dimple Naik told What Now Chicago the restaurant is currently in the development and construction phase and is targeting a Fall 2026 opening, pending construction, permits, licensing, and regulatory approvals.
“AstroBite started as my dream to create a brand of my own and turn everything I had imagined into something real. The name comes from our family dog, Astro, but the heart of it is about bringing people together,” Nail said. “AstroBite isn’t just a restaurant to me; it is an experience I imagined and am now bringing to life.”
AstroBite is being developed around what she calls an “Eat • Drink • Play” concept, bringing food, beverages and gaming entertainment together under one roof.
The space will feature a comfortable dining area, a small bar and a social lounge with Illinois-licensed video gaming terminals for adults. The restaurant will also have an outdoor seating area where guests can bring their dogs.
Its planned menu will include burritos, quesadillas, wings and boneless wings, burgers, loaded fries, nachos, signature sauces and wing flavors, fountain beverages and alcoholic drinks.
