A national smoothie chain is not slowing down expansion.
The latest Tropical Smoothie Cafe in the state is coming to 7101 E Michigan Avenue in Saline, from a recent lease carried out by Keystone Commercial Real Estate. This is on the east side of the township. As the lease was just recently signed, an opening date has not yet been announced.
Currently, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has around 120 locations in the Great Lakes State. The company operates as a franchise, and has recently debuted new cafes in Woodhaven and Adrian. The same franchisee looks to be opening the new Saline spot.
Flavors of smoothies range from berry to avocado, and their peanut paradise drink with peanut butter and banana is also a popular option. Food options include their acai bowls, wraps and snack rolls. According to their website, menus vary by location.
The new smoothie cafe is opening on the south side of E Michigan Avenue, near the intersection of Moon Road. This is next to Moon Road KinderCare center, and right across from Saline Chevrolet. Other dining concepts at this intersection include Brewed Awakenings Cafe and Mi Zarape.
What Now Detroit has reached out to representatives from Tropical Smoothie Cafe and is awaiting comment.
