Design Within Reach is opening a new studio at Westfield Galleria at Roseville, located at 1151 Galleria Blvd in Roseville, according to a filing with the City of Roseville confirmed by mall officials. The furniture retailer, owned by MillerKnoll, is one of five newly confirmed tenants joining the mall’s western promenade as part of a larger renovation project called The Trails at Roseville, with construction expected to begin in May and wrap up by spring 2027.

Design Within Reach specializes in modern furniture, lighting and home decor, positioning itself as a source of curated, globally inspired design pieces for both individual homeowners and design professionals. Its stores typically feature dozens of fully built out room vignettes, showing off living, dining, bedroom and outdoor furniture setups, along with complimentary design services like in-home consultations and 3D space renderings. The brand is part of MillerKnoll, the publicly traded design collective that also owns Herman Miller and Knoll.

The Trails renovation will overhaul the promenade’s exterior storefronts, expand outdoor dining space, update landscaping and lighting, and improve walkability throughout the open air section of the mall. Alongside Design Within Reach, the project has also confirmed furniture retailer Arhaus and restaurants Sweetgreen, Doppio Zero and King’s Fish House, joining existing promenade tenants like Il Fornaio and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
