A men’s and boys’ boutique in New Iberia known for its man-cave atmosphere, is preparing to add a second Acadiana location in Youngsville. Set to be located at the La Ville Centre plaza, The Backward Hat will offer curated selection of athletic, casual, and business-casual apparel catering to all ages, from toddlers to grandfathers. The current location also offers immersive in-person experience, featuring sports on television and arcade games to create a welcoming environment for shoppers who prefer a hands-on approach over online retail. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

Owners Frankie and Dayna Provost, both New Iberia natives, launched the original location in October 2025 after identifying a significant gap in the local men’s retail market, according to The Daily Iberian. The boutique emphasizes community connection and versatility, aiming to provide high-quality pieces that transition seamlessly from the gym to the office.
