Chick-fil-A Opens Its Fifth Brooklyn Location

Chick-fil-A has opened a new restaurant in Brooklyn on August 27, at 1569 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn Junction. It is the chain’s fifth restaurant in Brooklyn.

According to the official announcement, the new restaurant will be owned and operated by Brooklyn native Natalie Finkelstein.

Finkelstein said, “As someone who was born in Brooklyn, it has always been my dream to return to my roots and open a restaurant that serves great food while bringing together the incredible diversity that makes this community so special,” said .

She previously owned and operated The House of Poké. She previously worked as a speech-language pathologist before moving into the restaurant industry.

Chick-fil-A is an American quick-service restaurant chain. The chain’s menu includes chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, salads, and other quick-service offerings. Most restaurants are operated by local Owner-Operators who are actively involved in their businesses and communities. It also supports communities through initiatives focused on hunger relief, education, and other local causes.

The Brooklyn location is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. It will offer dine-in, carry-out, and delivery services. The delivery service will be available until 11 p.m.

Broader NYC Expansion and Community Impact

According to a Hoodline report, the Brooklyn Junction In-Line restaurant is the brand’s first ground-up, standalone location in New York City. The brand first entered the borough in 2018 and has since expanded in several Brooklyn neighborhoods.

The opening included promotional giveaways and a $25,000 donation to support hunger-relief efforts in New York City. The restaurant will also participate in the Shared Table program. The program redirects surplus food to local organizations serving people in need. The restaurant is expected to create 80 to 90 jobs.

The new Chick-fil-A location adds to the brand’s growing presence in New York City. It also aims to make a broader impact on the community that goes beyond serving customers.
