Coffee is making its way back to a Palisades storefront-and it’s bringing delicious pastries and French-inspired cuisine along for the ride. Maman, a popular bakery that’s made quite an impression in the DMV, is moving into the storefront last occupied by Black Coffee, exciting news for locals missing their java fix, reports PoPville.
Work is underway on Maman’s upcoming 4885 MacArthur Blvd, NW home. While photos of the space suggest relatively extensive work is still required to prepare the storefront for the cafe, there are some positive indicators of forward momentum for locals eager to enjoy the concept’s various offerings. Maman is actively recruiting staff for the location, with multiple postings on various job boards.
Maman already has a relatively formidable presence in the DMV, with 13 outposts currently open across the region.
