Richie’s Real American Diner is moving forward with plans for a new Menifee location, bringing the Southern California restaurant brand to 29787 Antelope Road, Suite 110. Construction documents identify the project as an 8,820-square-foot dine-in restaurant within the Menifee Lakes Plaza shopping center.
Documents from the project and from the City of Menifee Community Development Department list BMW Management, Inc. as the ownership group behind the location.
Kimley-Horn is handling civil engineering, while Wilson Davis Associates is listed for landscape work, Mesri Engineering Inc. for structural engineering, MCG Architecture as architect, Acies Engineering for electrical, mechanical and plumbing work, Global Geo-Engineering Inc. as soils engineer, Machan Sign Company Inc. for signage, My Studio ID for interiors and millwork, and TriMark USA for foodservice supplies and design.
Richie’s Real American Diner dates back to 1991, when Jack and Linda Williams opened the first location in Temecula. The couple had already spent decades in the restaurant industry and built a substantial portfolio of Sizzler restaurants before launching Richie’s.
Their daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Gary Myers, have continued the legacy of the business on, and are also successful Sizzler franchisees. Together with son Bryce, they run BMW Management.
This new Menifee eatery will join the current Richie’s locations in Temecula, Murrieta and Rancho Cucamonga, its website shows. The concept is described as “old-fashioned country cookin’,” with an emphasis on quality ingredients and friendly service.
