Legend of Spice Group is breaking into the Ottawa market for the first time with a new restaurant planned at 99 Rideau St. in a space formerly home to McDonald’s, according to Ottawa Business Journal. Chai Men will offer traditional Sichuan cuisine.

The brand currently has one location open in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Legend of Spice Group operates eight concepts across Canada, including Bao House, which has four locations across Ontario and Quebec, and Souper Hot Pot, which has three locations in Ontario and one in Montreal. Their other brands include Don’t Yell at Me and Miss Fu in Chengdu.
