A new haven for dining enthusiasts is taking shape in Oxford. Marshall Steakhouse is making great strides on its area location, stoking enthusiasm and stirring hunger in locals eager to sink their teeth into its lauded fare.
Marshall has been providing development updates on its upcoming Pat Patterson Parkway location on social media, filling future regulars in on the steady progress the restaurant is making. An August 28 Facebook post shows the skeleton of the steakhouse and states: “Attention Oxford And Ole Miss Fans! Concrete was poured on Monday and walls started going up today! Marshall Steakhouse Oxford is making excellent progress!!!”
Ownership states in the comments that Marshall received its permits from the city about a month ago and the restaurant is now aiming to be customer-ready in January of 2027. Future regulars can follow Marshall’s social media page for a behind the scenes peek at how the space is developing; ownership has been posting regular updates showing the construction in action.
Welcoming Marshall Steakhouse is a bit of a coup for Oxford-particularly its meat lovers. The restaurant has been voted #1 Steakhouse in Mississippi by Food Network and the Mississippi Beef Council. The menu features an array of meat-everything from pork to chicken to lamb-but, of course, the steak is where it shines brightest. Marshall’s offers a selection of cuts which are “Grain Fed usda Prime Beef aged a minimum of 28 days Seasoned and Grilled on our Hardwood Charcoal Pit.”
