Zio Al’s Pizza & Pasta is coming to Copperfield. According to a recently filed Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, one of the booming pizzeria’s newest eateries is expected to open within the newly developed commercial property known as the Fuel Hub at 15205 FM 529 suite A.
The permit further details that construcion is already underway and is slated to be competed at the end of January 2027. If all goes will with permitting and the estimated $230,000 construction project, the new Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta shop shoul open by late winter.
But the owners of the establishment shared that they expect to open much sooner. Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta’s Amanda Rechdan says that the new Cooperfiled location should be open this fall.
“Zio Al’s looks for locations in high-traffic, growing areas with a strong mix of residential, business, and late-night activity,” Rechdan said in an email interview with What Now Houston.
“Accessibility, visibility, surrounding demographics, and how well the area fits the Zio Al’s concept are all important factors in selecting each location.”
Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta was founded in Dallas-Fort Worth in 2010 by Alex Frijat. Since its inception, the brand has blossomed into a dozen locations. There are now 13 Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta locations serving the Lone Star State, with one open location in the Greater Houston area, in Katy, and several more under development.
Zio Al’s Pizza & Pasta is anticipated to open in Copperfield within the Fuel Hub at 15205 FM 529 suite A this fall.
