Zio Al’s Pizza & Pasta is expanding to Shenandoah. The growing pizzeria is expected to open in the Metropark Square at 8888 Metropark Drive, according to Community Impact.
Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta is inching towards opening, with signage already displayed on the building that the new eatery will live in. If all goes well with permitting and construction, the new Zio Al’s Pizza & Pasta should open this year. As for when exactly has yet to be revealed.
Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta was founded in Dallas-Fort Worth in 2010. Since its inception, the brand has blossomed to a dozen locations. According to the pizza joint’s website, Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta has your cravings covered, offering fresh dough and fresh toppings until 3 am every night.
“When the craving hits at midnight, Zio Al’s has you covered, with 12 locations spread across the DFW Metroplex, we’re always close by and always open late,” the Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta website reads.
“Hot pizza, fresh pasta, and crispy wings made to order, because the best meals don’t always happen before 9PM.”
Owner, Alex Frijat, was a pizza delivery driver before he took the wheel of his establishment, serving up from scratch home-made recipes.
What Now Houston reached out to Frijat for comment, but did not receive a response by the time of this publication. What Now also reached out to General Manager, Safwat Tarda, to find out more about the upcoming opening, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
But, it is clear that many, if not all, of the items Texans have experienced at the currently open Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta locations will also be served at the new Metropark square location, which includes a variety of pizzas and sizes, philly cheesesteaks, wings, and pastas.
Zio Al’s Pizza & Pasta is anticipated to open in the Metropark Square at 8888 Metropark Drive sometime this year.
