A New York Indian dining institution with more than four decades of history is bringing its flavors to Midtown West.
Bukhara Grill, owned by Raja Jhanjee and his son Akshay Jhanjee will debut at 117 W. 58th St., according to Traded NY.
The new Bukhara Grill will join the restaurant’s New Jersey locations in West Caldwell and Ridgewood, along with another upcoming location in Bloomfield.
This news follows the July announcement of the closure of the original Manhattan location at 120 E. 39th St.
The menu will feature the same dishes prepared by the same chefs, with a focus on cuisine inspired by India’s North-West Frontier. The restaurant is known for its signature Dal Bukhara, tandoori kebabs and handcrafted naans, including its giant butter naan.
The restaurant will also highlight a curated cocktail program.
An official opening date has not yet been announced, however, Bukhara Grill’s Instagram bio reads: “Coming soon.” Follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
