A new cafe is coming to Glenside.
Finjan will open inside Lahasa Quickmart at 271 S. Easton Rd. in the Produce Junction shopping center.
“We are so excited to bring this new craft cafe experience to Glenside and can’t wait to welcome you all soon!” lead barista Adelaide Elliott wrote in a Facebook post.
Lahasa Quickmart is a local, family-owned business offering convenience items, including snacks, beverages, pantry and grocery staples, household essentials, party supplies and Latin American products. Customers of legal age can also purchase Pennsylvania Lottery tickets and tobacco products.
While the menu is still in development, guests can expect specialty coffees, cold brews, iced matcha and chai lattes. The team will also offer samples at the Glenside Food Truck Festival on Sept. 10.
Finjan is currently hiring an experienced barista, along with either one full-time team member or two part-time team members.
An official opening date has not yet been announced. However, the team is putting the “final touches” on the cafe and plans to be “fully up and running” by October.
Finjan doesn’t appear to be the only project in the works, as the Facebook post also teased “other exciting upgrades and expansions” coming to Lahasa Quickmart.
