Employees Only’s Los Angeles History

Employees Only originally opened in New York’s West Village before expanding to Los Angeles in 2018. The Los Angeles location was developed by Midnight Hospitality Group and marked the brand’s entry to the West Coast.

The concept combines craft cocktails, dinner, and late-night drinks. The idea behind the concept was to create a place where restaurant and bar workers could relax after their shifts. The space includes a main bar, outdoor patio, dining room, and the hidden Henry’s Room.

The news of the venue’s upcoming closure has left many longtime customers disappointed. They have expressed their emotions on social media, highlighting the impact the concept had on the community.

A customer on Instagram wrote, “Not sure how to process this. LOVE Y’ALL SO MUCH.”

Another customer wrote, “Breaking my heart, y’all. I’ll see you for a few more spros very soon.”

Employees Only will serve its final drinks at its West Hollywood location on September 27.
