A beloved Texas breakfast and brunch chain is coming to Manor. According to public filings, The Toasted Yolk Café plans to open at 11910 US Hwy 290, Suite 220, within the Manor Crossing Shopping Center.

What Now Austin reached out to franchisee Phillip LaCorte, who confirmed an opening is targeted for early January 2027, pending final build-out and staff training.

LaCorte made no secret of his ambitions. “We want it to be the best breakfast in Austin,” he said. “Period. No exceptions.”

The Toasted Yolk Café is a restaurant concept centered on breakfast and lunch, with a philosophy built around celebrating them “as the social events they are.” Its eclectic menu includes breakfast classics like French toast, omelettes, chicken and waffles, and yogurt parfaits, alongside juices, coffee creations, and cocktails. Everything is made fresh daily.

LaCorte’s personal favorite says plenty about what the brand does well. “I’m a huge French toast guy,” he said. “Our French toast is made from bakery-fresh bread from a family-owned bakery. The bread by itself is amazing.”

The choice of Manor was deliberate. “The city of Manor and the surrounding areas really needed a quality breakfast restaurant. They didn’t have a fresh-made breakfast concept in the whole area. This will be the only one,” LaCorte told What Now Austin. He described the brand as an old-school, from-scratch restaurant offering something meaningfully different from the existing options in the area.

“We’re very excited for the Greater Austin area to be exposed to what I would consider to be the best breakfast and brunch restaurant on the market. We look forward to providing that old-school service, where we really care about our community,” LaCorte told What Now Austin.

For Phillip, this will be his first franchise location. A second is already planned, with a Lakeway outpost targeted for Q3 2027 in the community where he and his family live.
