Last week, Phillip Jeffries, the luxury wallcovering company, announced that it will open a new showroom in the Charleston Design District, at Navy Yard Charleston.

Opening soon, the new showroom, featuring 1,458 square feet of space, will be the brand’s first in the Lowcountry, offering “an immersive destination for designers to explore wallcovering collections and collaborate with industry professionals in person,” says a press release.

“We are excited to bring the Phillip Jeffries brand to the coastal Carolinas region,” Phillip Jeffries Co-CEO Philip Bershad said in the press release. “Charleston Design District’s vibrant community was a natural fit for our newest showroom, and we cannot wait to build on the creative, passionate environment that continues to grow in North Charleston.”

Taking its place in Suite 121 in Storehouse 8, the new showroom will be “customized for the Lowcountry,” featuring 15 dramatic installations and 500 display wings.

“Phillip Jeffries is the ideal addition to Charleston Design District, building on the positive momentum that continues to position the community as the top design hub in the Lowcountry,” said Michael Phillips, President of Jamestown. “The company’s reputation for excellence, innovation and sustainability aligns perfectly with our vision for this project, and we are thrilled to welcome them to our growing lineup of tastemakers and artists.”

Design is at the heart of the new showroom, which allows for collaboration between customers and designers, and which will also have a designer work area, bringing interior designer Edie Biebuyck aboard as studio lead.

“What began in 1976 as a family-founded business with just ten grasscloths has evolved into a global design force,” the release says. “Phillip Jeffries wallcovering can be found in the world’s leading fashion houses, luxury hotels, corporate headquarters, and private and celebrity residences, with clients including Cartier, Dior, and Four Seasons. Distributed in more than 100 countries and flagship showrooms in New York, London, Paris, and Singapore, the company has become synonymous with innovative design, exceptional service, and the fastest delivery in the industry. Still family owned and operated, Phillip Jeffries stays true to its purpose of making the world more beautiful, one wall at a time.”
