Bigs Laundry is embarking on its third San Antonio region opening. According to a recently filed Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, the well-known laundry service is planning to open in the historic Westside neighborhood at 1903 S Brazos.
The permit further details that construction on the new Bigs Laundromat is expected to start in mid-January of next year and is slated to be completed by September 2027. If all goes well with permitting and the estimated $216,650 construction project, the new Bigs Laundry should open by next fall.
At the helm of the opening is co-owner Sam Makani. What Now San Antonio reached out to Makani to find out more about the development. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

The prominent neighborhood laundry and dry-cleaning provider first emerged and began establishing its footprint in the San Antonio area around 2020 to 2021, starting with its location on Fredericksburg Road. It has since expanded to multiple locations across the city, including its 24/7 facility on South Zarzamora Street.
