Cavender’s Boot City is expanding its San Antonio footprint with a new location planned for 5819 Worth Pkwy, according to an announcement from the Western retailer’s website.

The new store is expected to open this fall and will span approximately 28,000 square feet, giving San Antonio shoppers another destination for Western wear, boots, apparel, and accessories.

Founded in 1965, Cavender’s has grown from a single storefront in Pittsburg, Texas, into a Western-wear retailer with more than 130 stores across more than 18 states. The company is known for its selection of handcrafted Western boots and apparel, as well as brands including Ariat, Wrangler, and Resistol.

The new San Antonio store will carry Cavender’s full selection of men’s, women’s, and children’s products, including Western boots, hats, shirts, jeans, dresses, belts, Western accessories, work boots, and apparel.

Shoppers will also have access to personalized services such as boot fitting, hat shaping, and boot stretching.

The retailer also offers its My Cavender’s loyalty program, which provides members with exclusive offers, early access to sales and promotions, invitations to special events, and hassle-free returns.

The new location at 5819 Worth Pkwy will add to Cavender’s growing presence in San Antonio. The company recently opened another San Antonio location at 2502 Summit Church Road in May.

The new Cavender’s Boot City is currently slated to open this fall, although the company has not announced an exact opening date.
