Longstanding New Orleans cafe favorite PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans is bringing “The Soul of Coffee” to a new location in Kissimmee. With a handful of locations already open in Florida, the coffee brand will expand its Sunshine-State footprint with a new cafe opening at 1952 S John Young Pkwy.
PJ’s Coffee serves a variety of espresso-based coffee drinks hot, cold, and iced, whether you’re in the mood for a classic latte or the frozen Mocha Granita. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ll also love their beignets. What’s a beignet? It’s “a hot & billowy fried French pastry, dusted with powdery confectioners’ sugar,” says the PJ’s Coffee website.
“PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans was founded in 1978 by Phyllis Jordan, a pioneer in the coffee industry who embraced high-quality beans, superior roasting methods, and a pure passion for the art of coffee-making,” says the brand’s origin story on the PJ’s Coffee site. “Her dedication to coffee quality remains the foundation of our roasting methods, which is done blocks from the famous French Quarter in New Orleans.”
The location on South John Young Parkway (i.e. Orange Blossom Trail) will be situated just across the street from Medical Villages and Lechonera El Jibarito.
“PJ’s Coffee utilizes only the best quality arabica coffee beans sourced from around the world. This gourmet coffee is small batch roasted in 300 lbs or less by Roastmaster Felton Jones, who alone has over 25 years of experience with PJ’s Coffee.”
