Conoco Gas Station continues to increase its impact on the Las Vegas Valley with another opening, this time in North Las Vegas. Signs for the new gas station to come to Craig Road are already on display. Conoco is expected to open at 4308 West Craig Road.

Construction is currently underway but drawing to a close. The new Conoco Gas Station is expected to open this fall. The new gas station appears to also have a Sbarro within its US Market.

LV Petroleum runs many of the Conoco Gas Stations in the Las Vegas Valley.  What Now Las Vegas reached out to LV Petroleum’s Senior Vice President of Retail Operations, Robert Lay, to find out more about the upcoming opening. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

“There’s GO in everything you do,” the Conoco website reads.

“From 1,000-mile road trips and spontaneous adventures to conquering mundane errands and tackling grocery runs. Phillips 66® isn’t just about getting you from point A to point B; we are here to fuel all the ways you GO GO GO.”

Conoco traces its origins back to 1875, when it was founded as the Continental Oil and Transportation Co. in Ogden, Utah. Isaac Elder Blake founded the company to sell kerosene brought in by railroad tank cars in bulk. In 1909, Continental built its first filling station as the automotive age began taking off in the American West. By 1981, Chemical giant DuPont had acquired Conoco in a massive corporate takeover battle. In 2002, Conoco merged with Phillips Petroleum Company to form ConocoPhillips, creating one of the world’s largest integrated energy companies. In 2012, ConocoPhillips spun off its downstream refining and retail gas station business, establishing Phillips 66 as an independent company while retaining the Conoco brand for retail fuel stations.

There are now about 2,000 Conoco gas stations operating across the United States, with 26 in Nevada and approximately 13 Conoco-branded convenience stores and gas station locations operating in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, supplied locally through a partnership with FuelBro.

Several Conoco gas stations operate throughout the Las Vegas and North Las Vegas areas, offering TOP TIER® gasoline, convenience stores, and 24-hour service. Regional distributors like FuelBros and LV Petroleum manage a significant portion of these branded convenience and fuel assets in the state.

The primary developer and operator behind many Conoco-branded gas stations and convenience stores in the Las Vegas metro area is LV Petroleum LLC, founded by Guy Madmon and Val Amiel. LV Petroleum LLC manages dozens of travel centers, convenience stores, and gas assets locally, often operating sites under the FuelBros brand identity. Rather than strict traditional single-station franchising, these local operators use unbranded fuel purchasing paired with licensing agreements from major fuel brands like Conoco (Phillips 66), allowing access to the Conoco network and credit card processing.

“Our mission is to provide exceptional travel centers, gas stations, and convenience stores that prioritize efficiency, maintain impeccable hygiene standards, offering delicious and nutritious food choices, and enhance the overall experience of people on the road,” the LV Petroleum website reads.

“As a company we strive to cater to the unique needs of our clientele, giving them the ability to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle on the road with our new and improved gyms, wide selection of high-quality foods and other amenities, ensuring travelers comfort and satisfaction through their journey.”

Conoco is anticipated to open in North Las Vegas at 4308 West Craig Road this fall.
