Owned and operated by Paul Osterbrink, the sports bar has served the community for 22 years. Paul’s Oasis is a family-run sports bar offers American bar food, drinks, live music and televised sports.

Osterbrink announced the closure in a social media post, citing an issue with the location’s lease. According to the post, “The tentative closure date is Sunday 9/27.”

Osterbrink said he has been searching for another location for more than a year. In the post, the owner assured that he will do everything “to keep Paul’s Oasis going.”

He also wrote about his relationship with the bar’s employees and customers. He wrote, “I consider my staff and customers as family, and I do not want to let you down.”

Located at 8021 Kingston Pike in Knoxville, Paul’s Oasis Sports Grille & Spirits has built a strong following in the community. The bar space features a dining section, a dance floor, and a stage for live musical acts.

The menu of the bar focuses on traditional American bar food and includes wings and tenders, pizza, burgers, and loaded fries. It also includes a rotating tap list, offers local favorite beers, and has a full-service liquor bar.

The business is expected to close its current location by end of this month as Osterbrink continues searching for a new space.
