Plus, Hot Topic files plans for Sugarloaf Mills
Soon, you’ll have the option to “ignite your tastebuds with flavor” at Grayson Pavilion.
Spice Oven, a new Indian restaurant, is replacing Tandoor Indian Cuisine in suite 112 at 1365 Grayson Parkway in Lawrenceville.
According to a recently-created Facebook page, the restaurant will be a full-service eatery with a full bar.
A flyer on the page reads, “Blending fresh spices, vegetables, meats & breads, Spice Oven is dedicated to creating authentic & flavorful Indian food, any way you want it!”
The restaurant is also advertising catering services, buffet, delivery and take out.
Owner Tony Matthew was not immediately available for comment. According to his Facebook page, Matthew is a “former business owner” at Haven Restaurant & Lounge in Lilburn.
Tandoor Indian Cuisine, which previously operated at the location, made headlines this year for failing its health inspection for the third time. Tandoor’s last Facebook update posted on June 30 announced that the restaurant was open under new management. Currently, the business is listed as “permanently closed” on Google.
In Marietta, the team behind Beer Barrel is opening a second concept called The Rusty Barrel Bar and Grill at 138 Powers Ferry Road.
A company representative told What Now Atlanta this week that the business will “hopefully” open in mid-August.
Plans were filed last week for a new Hot Topic location inside Sugarloaf Mills mall in Lawrenceville.
The store would be located in suite 458.
