The Related Group this week released the name of its forthcoming 39-story tower at 14 and West Peachtree streets, and details around plans to incorporate a mural by local graffiti artist HENSE (Alex Brewer.)

The residential high-rise that will be anchored by a Whole Foods flagship, first announced in 2015, will be called Apogee Midtown, and is expected to open its doors in fall 2017, according to the announcement.

Artist HENSE has been commissioned to create a mural 95-feet tall and 63-feet wide for the project that will incorporate “3-D elements;” a mix of sculpture and wall painting.

Michael Habachy of Habachy Designs, has been tasked with designing Apogee Midotwn’s interior, a whopping 39 floors with 390 residences.

Expect to see more “artful” towers to pop-up in the metro-area, according to Related Group executives, who in the announcement make hints of many future high-rise and garden-style developments in similar fashion on the horizon.
