The coffee and deli concept is looking at expansion for next year.
Following the success of their location at the Brickerman Building, Bruce & Ollie’s is coming to the south side of town. This shop will be drive-thru only, offering the same brews locals in the area have come to love. Co-owner Jen Cetwinski told What Now Chicago she is hoping to open around March or April.
The drinks available are typical coffees, like espressos, Americanos and cappuccinos. Early morning options include their breakfast casserole with sausage or bacon with eggs, a breakfast sandwich, everything bagel, muffins and pastries. For lunch, sandwiches like a french dip are options, along with salads and soups.
For the new drive-thru spot, it will serve coffees, teas, energy drinks and ice cream. Food options won’t be as expensive, but they are planning grab-and-go deli items, as well as protein balls. The new menu will be released closer to the opening date.
There is not an exact address yet, but the coffee shop is coming to the intersection of Route 6 and IL 178. This is on the south side of Utica, close to Ano Del Gallo bar and grill. Other restaurants nearby include Bear Island Bar & Grill and Treetops Cafe.
