A major fashion retailer is working on expanding its presence in the Westfield Montgomery Mall. Zara, already a hit in the shopping center, is relocating from the ground floor to a new two-level location, allowing it to feature a more expansive selection of merchandise, reports local media outlet MoCo Show.
Zara will be occupying 38,000 square feet of the 7101 Democracy Boulevard Mall. It is taking over the spaces that housed Gap and Gap Kids until their closures in summer of 2025. While the new location is not set to be completed until February of next year, fans of the shop needn’t worry; Zara will continue to operate out of its current storefront until its new home is completed.
Zara was founded in Spain in 1975. The chain has since become a powerful retail presence, with a heavy emphasis and focus on fashion, though shoppers can also peruse home wares and beauty products.
