Babyletto is preparing to open its first Orange County location at South Coast Collection (SOCO) in Costa Mesa, according to The Orange County Register. The nursery and children’s furniture brand is expected to open at the home furnishings and design center this fall.
The Costa Mesa location will be Babyletto’s second store in California. The company currently operates a flagship location in West Hollywood. According to a September 8 announcement from Continental Realty Corporation, Babyletto selected SOCO for its inaugural Orange County location within the 292,000-square-foot design center.
Babyletto sells nursery and children’s furniture and related products, including cribs, dressers, seating, mattresses, play tables and other items. The company was founded in Los Angeles and is part of Million Dollar Baby Co., a family-owned company established in 1990.
A new line created through a partnership between Babyletto and designer and author Nate Berkus is also expected to be part of the brand’s fall lineup, according to The Orange County Register. The retailer has not announced a specific opening date for the Costa Mesa location.
SOCO is located at Hyland Avenue and includes a collection of home furnishings and design businesses. Existing tenants include Design Within Reach, Rejuvenation, Room & Board, Joybird, King Living, and other brands. The center also includes several dining businesses.
The new Babyletto store will give the company a physical presence in Orange County following its West Hollywood location. According to Continental Realty Corporation, the Costa Mesa opening is planned for fall 2026.
