Kevin Kelley’s Soul Food Restaurant Is Opening at 7 Times Square

Kitchen + Kocktails is opening a new restaurant in New York City. It will bring Southern-inspired comfort food and cocktails to the neighborhood. It will mark the brand’s expansion to a new market.

Kitchen + Kocktails Makes Its New York City Debut

Kitchen + Kocktails is opening a new restaurant in Times Square, New York City. It will be the brand’s first location in New York and also its largest location so far. It will open on October 3, marking its continued expansion nationwide.

Founded by Kevin Kelley in 2020, Kitchen + Kocktails has locations in Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Philadelphia, and Miami. The company has also announced plans to open in Boston and New Orleans.

According to a NY Carib News report, the restaurant will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Menu and Design Highlights

Kitchen + Kocktails specializes in Southern-inspired comfort food and cocktails. According to the NY Carib News report, the Times Square menu will include dishes such as shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and Southern fried catfish. It will also include lobster and waffles, crab cakes, and Trinity egg rolls.

The restaurant will also serve signature cocktails, including the 24K Gold Fashioned. It will also offer Blackberry Margarita, Peach D’USSÉ Frosé, and True Flame, which comes with a live flame presentation.

The new restaurant will cover 10,000 square feet across two floors. Its design features wave-shaped wooden ceilings, colorful cultural murals, and large floral installations. The space will also have several dining areas, a large bar, and a private dining room.

The Times Square location will offer weekend brunch. The restaurant is also designed to accommodate large parties, corporate dinners, Broadway pre-theater dining, bachelorette celebrations, and private buyouts. Guests can make reservations through OpenTable, while private event inquiries can be submitted through the restaurant’s Catering menu.
