Dragon Alley is expanding into Nashville with a second location at 1501 McGavock Street, bringing its Asian street-food restaurant and bar concept to Albion Music Row in Midtown. Nashville Music City reported that the Huntsville, Alabama-based concept has signed on as a retail tenant in the recently opened residential development.
The restaurant will occupy just over 10,000 square feet on the ground floor of Albion Music Row, making it the larger of the development’s newly announced retail spaces. According to the pubication, the 29-story tower opened this summer with 458 residential units, while its ground-level retail component is intended to connect the property with the surrounding Midtown and Music Row neighborhoods.
Dragon Alley’s menu is built around Asian street-food favorites, with Nashville Music City specifically highlighting dumplings, noodles and rice-based Dragon Plates among the offerings expected at the new location. The restaurant’s existing Huntsville concept also features street bites and other shareable dishes, reflecting the market-inspired approach behind the brand
The Nashville restaurant will mark Dragon Alley’s second location. The concept originated in Huntsville and is operated by a team with experience connected to brands including Kamado Ramen, Tous Les Jours and Kung Fu Tea, according to Nashville Music City.
