Aurora is getting another spot for sandwiches and soup, with Sourdough & Co. preparing to open at Southlands.
The sandwich shop is listed as coming soon at the outdoor shopping center, adding a new Aurora location to the brand’s growing Colorado footprint. Southlands added the restaurant to its tenant lineup in September.
Sourdough & Co. is built around its signature sourdough bread, with a menu that covers sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps and flatbreads. The company describes its bread as San Francisco-style sourdough made without preservatives.
The sandwich lineup includes both classics and specialty combinations, with options such as French Dip, Smoked Brisket, Caprese, Chicken Cholula and Crispy Crunchy Chicken. Traditional choices include ham, roast beef and Italian-style sandwiches.
Soup is another part of the restaurant’s lineup, with New England clam chowder available daily alongside a rotating Soup of the Day. Customers can order the soups by the cup or bowl, or have them served in one of the restaurant’s sourdough bread bowls.
The menu also includes salads, wraps, flatbreads, sides, cookies and drinks. The company offers catering as well as online ordering, pickup and delivery at its existing restaurants.
Sourdough & Co. already has several Colorado locations, including restaurants in Colorado Springs, Fountain, Greenwood Village, Littleton and Westminster. The Aurora opening will add another stop to the brand’s Colorado lineup.
The company originated in California and has expanded beyond its original market, with its restaurants centered on casual meals and its sourdough-focused menu. At Southlands, Sourdough & Co. will join the shopping center’s existing mix of restaurants, retailers and services.
An opening date for the Aurora location has not yet been announced, but Southlands currently lists Sourdough & Co. as coming soon.
