The Escape Game, an escape room entertainment company offering themed, timed adventures, is coming to Westfield Topanga at 6344 Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Woodland Hills.
WhatsNewSFV recently shared the upcoming location, but has not yet shared an exact opening date. The Escape Game will offer real-life escape room experiences where groups work together to solve clues, uncover hidden details, and complete challenges before time runs out. The company’s website lists games for groups of up to 7, 8, 10, or 12 players, depending on the experience.
The Escape Game currently offers a wide range of themed games across its locations. Options include Prison Break, Murder With a Side of Meatballs, Legend of the Yeti, Only Murders in the Building, Cosmic Crisis, The Heist, Gold Rush, Titanic, and The Curse of the Mummy. Most games run 60 minutes, while The Cabin runs 45 minutes.
The company says it creates its games in-house at its “Adventure Factory,” where game designers, architects, engineers, carpenters, scenic artists, technicians, and storytellers work on each experience. The games range in difficulty, with some designed for first-timers and others intended to challenge more experienced players. The Escape Game also offers experiences designed specifically for children and larger groups.
The Woodland Hills location will add to The Escape Game’s California presence, with locations currently listed in Irvine, Los Angeles, Milpitas, Orange, Rancho Cucamonga, Roseville, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, and Torrance. The company also lists upcoming locations in Phoenix, Denver, Omaha, Garden City, Raleigh, and Addison.
The Escape Game will be joining other new concepts coming to Westfield Topanga. Cache 58, a fine Mexican restaurant led by Chef Ruben Barragan, was recently announced for the shopping center at 6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Barragan’s restaurant is also listed as coming soon at Victoria Gardens, but no opening date has been announced for the Westfield Topanga location.
