Robert’s Western World is taking its Nashville honky-tonk experience beyond Lower Broadway for the first time, with a new satellite location coming to Nissan Stadium at 1 Titans Way. The Tennessee Titans announced the new venue through Nissan Stadium identifying Robert’s as one of the local businesses that will have a presence inside the new stadium. The location will be situated on the 300 level and will be open to all fans.

Jesse Lee Jones, owner of Robert’s Western World, confirmed his ownership of the longtime Nashville business to WhatNow Nashville. The Titans’ announcement, however, confirms that the Nissan Stadium venue will mark Robert’s first-ever satellite location, giving the Lower Broadway institution a second Nashville presence, according to the Nissan Stadium’s website.

The expansion brings one of Downtown Nashville’s most recognizable traditional country music establishments into a very different setting. Robert’s Western World is known for its connection to the classic honky-tonk culture of Lower Broadway and describes itself as Nashville’s home of traditional country music. According to the Titans, the business originally began as Rhinestone Western Wear, a store specializing in boots and western apparel, before gradually incorporating live performances and developing into the honky-tonk that operates today.

That history will be reflected in the new stadium space rather than left behind on Broadway. According to the Titans as reported by Nissan Stadium, the Robert’s Western World location will incorporate design details inspired by its original location, including checkerboard flooring, portraits, neon signs and a boot display. Those elements are intended to carry the visual character of the established honky-tonk into Nissan Stadium.

For the Titans, bringing Robert’s Western World into the stadium is part of a broader effort to give the new venue a distinctly Nashville identity. Chelsea Lipocky, the Titans’ head of stadium, revenue and strategy, said the organization wanted the stadium to represent the city and state while highlighting local businesses with established histories. According to Nissan Stadium, Robert’s, with its longstanding connection to Nashville’s music culture, is among the businesses selected to help create that local connection.

The partnership also carries significance for Robert’s Western World, according to co-owner Emily Ann Jones. In the Titans’ announcement, Jones said the business has been approached about partnerships with larger cities and brands over the years but had not found an opportunity that felt appropriate. She said the hometown opportunity with the Titans was different because of the organization’s understanding of what Robert’s represents and its connection to Nashville’s musical traditions.

According to the Nissan Stadium, the new Robert’s Western World will therefore represent more than an additional address for the business. It marks the first time the Robert’s name has expanded into a satellite venue, extending a Lower Broadway institution into Nashville’s new stadium and placing its traditional country music identity alongside other locally rooted concepts being incorporated into the venue.
