Desert Hills Brewing Co. is tentatively targeting a mid-January 2027 opening in Cave Creek, owner Danny Frusciano told What Now Phoenix.
The brewery is under construction near the northeast corner of 53rd Street and Olesen Road, just south of Carefree Highway. Danny and his wife, Jessica Frusciano, are building the business from the ground up.
Plans include brewing and office areas, a 1,238-square-foot taproom, a covered patio, an outdoor bar, and a beer garden, according to Valley Vibe.
Danny began making beer with his brother in their mother’s Michigan garage in 2001 and continued homebrewing for more than two decades. He later pursued professional brewing education as the couple worked toward opening their own brewery.
The Fruscianos found the Cave Creek property in 2022. The project spent the following years moving through financing and permitting before construction began.
The taproom is expected to have 20 taps, with a dozen or more dedicated to beer made on-site. The lineup will also include guest beers from local breweries, hard teas, and seltzers.
Construction and permitting remain underway, so the mid-January opening target is still tentative. Follow Desert Hills Brewing Co. on Facebook for construction and opening updates.
