Yard House plans to open at SanTan Crossing, at the southeast corner of SanTan Village Parkway and Williams Field Road in Gilbert, according to East Valley Now.

Plans call for a 5,700-square-foot restaurant and an additional 850 square feet of covered outdoor dining space. An exact address, construction timeline, and opening date have not been announced.

The Gilbert restaurant would become Yard House’s fourth Arizona location. The chain currently operates at Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, and Park Place Mall in Tucson.

Yard House opened its first restaurant in Long Beach, California, in 1996. Yard House is known for serving more than 100 beers on tap and for playing classic rock at its restaurants.

The menu includes burgers, tacos, pizzas, steaks, seafood, noodles, salads, and vegan options.

Yard House is part of Darden Restaurants, whose portfolio also includes Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Capital Grille, and several other full-service dining brands. Darden operates more than 2,200 restaurants.
