Cinemark Century 16 is planning renovations to its lobby and box office at 6685 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, according to state filings.

The project calls for an estimated $721,457 commercial renovation at the Cinemark Century Corpus Christi 16 XD and IMAX. The planned work will cover approximately 7,050 square feet and focus on updates to the theater’s main public areas.

According to the filing, the scope of work includes interior renovations to the main lobby and box office, with updates intended to modernize the customer-facing spaces and improve the overall arrival and ticketing experience.

Construction is scheduled to begin on November 30, 2026, with completion anticipated by February 12, 2027.

The project is focused on renovations to the existing theater and does not involve the construction of a new Cinemark location.
