Queen City Collective Coffee is adding another Denver address to its growing lineup, with a new café planned for NICO, the residential development at 3850 Blake Street in the River North Art District.
The planned location is part of a broader wave of development around the 38th & Blake A-Line Station, where new residential projects are bringing more activity to the surrounding streets. NakedDenver recently highlighted the Queen City project alongside another coffee shop planned for Blake Street.
Founded by brothers Scott, Luke and Eric Byington, Queen City Collective Coffee has built its business around specialty coffee and direct relationships with the people who grow it. The company sources coffee from producers around the world and roasts it in Colorado, connecting the work at origin with the Denver communities where its coffee is served.
That approach extends beyond the cup. Queen City says its focus on traceability and long-term producer relationships is central to how it operates, with an emphasis on transparency and sharing more of the story behind each coffee.
The company has grown from its early days as a small roasting operation into a network of cafés around the Denver area. Its existing locations include Five Points, LoDo, Berkeley, Wheat Ridge and Aurora, as well as its café inside Town Hall Collaborative in the Baker neighborhood.
The NICO café would give Queen City another foothold in RiNo, a neighborhood known for its mix of restaurants, creative businesses, apartments and converted industrial buildings. The development’s location near the commuter rail station also puts the planned café within an area that serves residents and people traveling through the district.
An opening date and further details about Queen City Collective Coffee’s NICO café have not yet been confirmed publicly. Customers can explore the company’s current coffee offerings and existing locations at Queen City Collective Coffee’s website.
