Memphis, are you ready for a taste of the Northeast, on the go? A new concept registered as Boston Fish Memphis LLC plans to bring you just that, as evidenced by a recently filed permit application.

Boston Fish is working towards planting its flag at 811 S Highland Street. To that end, the restaurant currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development.

The submitted application does not shed an abundance of light on what culinary delights will be served in the 2,219 square foot storefront, however it does provide this succinct project description: “Drive thru-fast food restaurant serving fish and seafood”, which seems to suggest that dine-in will not be on the figurative table.

It’s not yet clear when, precisely, Boston Fish will be opening its doors-the concept does not yet have a digital footprint to offer any guidance on that question. However, the move towards receiving a certificate of occupancy is generally a sign that an establishment will be customer-ready in the relatively near future. What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership for more details and will update readers as information becomes available.
