The arrival of a new chicken heavy-hitter is getting close enough for Olive Branch poultry enthusiasts to taste. Connie’s Chicken is making major strides towards opening in the area, marking its fourth Mississippi location.
Connie’s Chicken is bringing its “bold Southern comfort food” to 8220 Goodman Road. Local Facebook group Around the Branch recently posted that construction is underway on the storefront and the restaurant itself recently debuted an area-specific social media page.
The Connie’s Chicken Olive Branch Facebook page does not yet have many posts. On October 8th, it posted an introduction to itself, one sure to inspire enthusiasm in locals: “Olive Branch, we’ve been keeping something delicious under our wing. Connie’s Chicken is coming soon, bringing breakfast, lunch, dinner and plenty of Mississippi hospitality with us.”
The page’s greatest impact, however, is the reveal that Connie’s is recruiting staff for its new home. In addition to the Facebook call-to-arms, the chicken restaurant has posted about the open positions on multiple job websites. This full-court press is a positive indicator that the eatery will be ready in the not too distant future.
Connie’s Chicken currently has locations open in Oxford, Tupelo, and Starkville. The concept has become a fan-favorite, thanks to its warm, welcoming, and delicious approach to serving up one of the hottest tickets in the fast-casual dining scene. The website explains that the food is: “made fresh every day with quality ingredients and a whole lot of Tenders Love and Care. From our flavorful, hand-crafted chicken tenders to golden donuts, warm biscuits, and char-broiled favorites, every bite is made to satisfy…we’re proud to serve families, couples, and food lovers alike.”
