A new food and drink concept is joining Fulton Market’s exciting dining scene.

The team at Underscore Hospitality recently put in a liquor license application for 1512-1514 W Fulton Street under the name Miles Tavern. This will be close to their other concept Maxwells Trading which opened a few years ago. No information has been released online as of yet.

While not much has been revealed about the concept, it is confirmed from the application the restaurant will have an outdoor patio as well. It is labeled as a restaurant, so food additions like handhelds and entrees are to be expected.

What Now Chicago covered Maxwells Trading opening in August 2023, and it has become a dining destination for new American cuisine with Asian flavors. The chef at the restaurant, Erling Wu-Bower, is a James Beard finalist and is also attached to Miles Tavern.

The building is on the west side of Fulton Market, next to Room 1520 event venue. Maxwells Trading is just a block north on W Carroll Avenue. This is near the intersection of N Ogden Avenue.

What Now Chicago has reached out to Underscore Hospitality, and the team does not have any announcements to share at this time.
