Lobbie, a bar and restaurant concept by Blaxton, is preparing to open inside the terminal at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB). The airport announced the project for winter 2027 in a press release, alongside an Air Canada Café and a new paid lounge.

Lobbie was developed by Blaxton Franchise Canada. Blaxton already operates Blaxton Pub & Grill at YQB, which opened near gate 33 in 2022, according to the airport’s website.

Lobbie will offer fast-casual bar and restaurant service. Wine will be available by the glass or by the bottle, along with shared plates. The airport said the atmosphere will be inspired by Québec City’s way of life. The bar will be located after the security checkpoint near gates 29 and 30 and will also feature a large bar and a seating area for up to 75 guests.

All three amenities would be in place by summer 2026. The Air Canada Café opened in June 2026, according to Air Canada. As of this writing, the airport’s website lists Lobbie as closed. It also lists the new Boréal Lounge, located behind Lobbie, as opening in fall 2026.

YQB President and CEO Stéphane Poirier said in the release that the additions are part of the airport’s effort to attract travellers as it works toward welcoming 2.4 million passengers by 2030.
